Its a shame that Al Gore has only begun to speak up in the last few years. I can only hope that enough people are listening.

What do you think of this debate on whether or not Kerry should put himself out on a limb and speak up or let Bush hang himself? I hate that politics should ever come down to someone winning by not voicing his/her viewpoints, yet most Americans have proved themselves such sheep that it might make more sense for Kerry, whos present transgressions seem to be such important things as being boring, having French ancestry and feeling upset when he returned from Vietnam. But thats not what I want. I want opinions. I want to know what Kerry will do about bloody near everything. And I want people to vote for him based on his statements.

Theres an odd thing happening here in IL. Barack Obama, a Democratic candidate for US Senate is being followed by a staffer from his Republican counterparts office. With a video camera, trying to get as much on tape as possible, in order to use it against him. Its taking a fairly common practice of having a staffer keep watch on the opposite campaign to the most horrifying legal limit.

It may not be news to you, but for his Memorial Day cartoon, Gary Trudeau is listing all of the military casualties from the war in Iraq in the panels of his cartoon. Maybe that will help motivate people to care and worry and get the facts. Maybe.

That's all for today.
