I'm so glad you remembered that Peggy's pickle recipe was here. I wouldn't have ever found it in this house, and I'd feel awfully silly calling her.
Our first cuke crop is wilting as I write. Why didn't anyone warn us about the horrors of bacterial wilt? Ugh. But I salvaged about 20 or 30 little cukes for a couple jars of dill pickles, and I'll just have to buy more at the farmer's market.
