A coworker confided today she�s just realized she�ll never hike the Appalachian Trail. That she�ll never recover enough that it would be possible.

So long as we�re being dramatic and morbid today, and clearly we both are, I can say, unless bionic back muscles are created, I will not hike the trail, either.

That door is shut.

I will not become a jockey, princess, mathematician, President, Hell�s Angel or model. It�s too late to die young. I will never be �old money.�

Furthermore I�m growing concerned that my new hairdo is totally Jon Bon Jovi.
